What program do you have for creating events for easysocial? The 'ideal would be to integrate jticketing techjoomla, is there any news about it?
Hello rosario,

We don't actually have an event system available currently but works is underway for EasySocial 2.0.0 At the mean time, you should use the "Calendar" app that is included with EasySocial

I personally think that waiting for ES 2.0 is way to long for a feature like that !! End of 2014 or worst 2015 ?! Events are a crucial part of any social community, this is THE feature with video sharing that get people to interact with each other heavily ! This feature should be considered as essential !

Hope you can change your mind on this, you know a lot of people are requesting this on http://stackideas.com/voices

Thank you again for your great work !

Hi,

Indeed we are going to implement those but it won't be at the end of 2014.

You can refer to our roadmap that shows our ongoing task (live) in our development team: http://stackideas.com/roadmap/easysocial

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your reply. I do know about the roadmap, I visit it frequently !

That said, I cannot find anything in the roadmap that mention about events. Am I missing something ?

Do you have a vague idea of when you are planning to work on this feature ?

I absolutely need this feature before going live with my website !

Thank you !

Hi,

Currently we are focusing on getting groups done for 1.2, and we should be set for Events in 1.4 or 1.5.

If it's critical to have events now, you could theoretically install a events extension (there are many in the JED) to hold you over. Because events are temporary you could eventually swap over to the EasySocial events and have a archive events (they could stay open with a warning) that you eventually remove.

This is an option that was considered. Although the lack of Events and Pages is blocking our business, we prefer to wait for the development of this feature and not to subject our members a temporary scheme switching event management. Also we prefer a seamless integration to StackIdeas products and quality

Hi,

If you are indeed planning on adding the most needed event feature to ES, may I suggest you add it to your roadmap ;-)

I think this would help and reassure some people, including me ! ;-)

Thank you !
