Strange one on my community timeline... hopefully when you can take a look you'll still see 'World Stroke Day' on there... the description is displayed including the words "gathering of fellow str..." where it gets truncated... but then below that it just carries on with the whole description text anyway?

I also notice the 'More' links don't respond... so maybe the issue is connected? Looks like the 'More' has been activated straight away on page load perhaps (although only for this event... not the others?)
Hey Andy,

Hm, it looks like the event description is in HTML and truncating HTML codes are always tricky I have applied some fixes on your site, can you see if it behaves correctly now?

Thanks Mark. Yes that's certainly better.

Yes you're right, I switched to the HTML-enabled description made available in ES1.4 (thanks for that!)... but as always with our feature requests I'm sure they can cause are sorts of trouble for you on the coding side... so this was probably a side-effect of the upgraded power you gave us!

So we lose the HTML formatting on the timeline with the fixes you've applied which makes things look a little odd in places (for example no space after a couple of the titles where in HTML I think I'd used a <br /> to create the 'space' between the title and the next text), but the truncation and 'more' is now working as intended, and the HTML view shows when you actually view the event... so this is a good compromise for me. Thanks.
