Event Calendar Scheduling using UTC instead of Joomla Global Configuration

Essentially, we need for the events in EasySocial to schedule the time we have set in the global configuration of Joomla, not UTC. Currently, when we create an event, the default start time that is inputted is 6 hours into the future(UTC time). If we ignore and set it to the time we want anyways, the event becomes "past event". (because of the 6 hour discrepancy). We need a way so that the Datetime vairable is in our server's time(chicago, USA) not UTC.
When a person looks at the event on our site, they are assuming it is in their time or the company's headquarters time, not UTC.

Great! Didn't realize I could customize individual fields(and custom ones) per category of Events I created. This is a great functionality. I tested and confirmed. Issue resolved. Thank you for your speedy response.
