I've take a look of your login redirection where you've set it to 'stay on the same page' (settings>User>authentication>login redirection). If you have login in the homepage it will redirected back to the homepage.
As your issue in another ticket https://stackideas.com/forums/start-page-of-esmobile-template the homepage was already blank page, so it redirected to homepage (blank page).
What I can conclude here, the redirection was working correctly.
