Can you please elaborate more on what you have done with your overrides please? By the way, when you upgrade to ES2, it will automatically rename the folder /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easysocial/ to a different name.

This is to avoid fatal errors for users who have created template overrides which utilizes older variables from 1.4.x

I used the joomla override in /public_html/administrator/language/overrides and /public_html/language/overrides. With EB runs ok.
