Hi Mark, me again
I open this new ticket to report about my ES2 update. The update process stopped by 95% (cleaning up) on my local test site, just as on my life site. After cleaning the joomla-cache i got the installation running. But: from now on every little change in the backend need a cleaning of the joomla-cache to take affect in the frontend. This is extremely tiring and i find no way to solve this bug. If you find time (I know, you are working about 26 hours a day), please have a look.
Best regards
Peter
Hi there,

But: from now on every little change in the backend need a cleaning of the joomla-cache to take affect in the frontend. This is extremely tiring and i find no way to solve this bug. If you find time (I know, you are working about 26 hours a day), please have a look.

It seems that you have set your "Cache" to "ON - Conservative caching" as shown http://prntscr.com/d5dhgb. Maybe you can set it to off first when you required to do some modification on the site. And maybe you can disable any cache plugin first, for example "System - Page Cache" under Backend>Extension>Plugins as shown http://prntscr.com/d5dhua.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Hi Abdul,

1. turning off the cache has no affect.
2. Disable "System - Page Cache" plugin: works

thanks!
