Can you provide me with some screenshots so that I can have a better understanding on what do you mean 'author block (header) that shows above videos'?

I have attached a video to show the author/user profile block which shows above the video content

I've applied following custom css under your backend > Easysocial > theme > custom css , it should hide this user header on the single video page.

body #es.view-videos.layout-item .es-profile-header {

	display: none;

}

Ah ok cool. I was gonna do that as well but figured maybe there was a setting for it.
