Hi,

I have updated to 1.3.5 and can no longer update users - getting SQL Syntax error... and when I search for avinash in the search box I get cannot load tooltip but if i type smaller names it works.....

Okay, I have help you solved it, actually that was known issues in Easyblog bio apps.


1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'Avinash is a certified Business Coach and Mentor with over 6 years experience as' at line 1 SQL=update `#_easyblog_users` set `biography` = ''xxxx'' where `id` = '845'

Who hitting this issues try download my attachment file and replace in
JoomlaFolder\media\com_easysocial\apps\fields\user\easyblog_biography\easyblog_biography.php

I have applied the fixes with the SQL and it should no longer throw any errors now. As for the search, I don't really get you here. Can you please advise?

Firstly thank you for your response.

The error with search is gone but the SQL error still remains. Cannot update the profile for a user - specific info attached.

Hi Arlex,

I encounter the error when updating the EasySocial Profile. The error pertains to SQL syntax issues with the EasyBlog Custom Profile field used in the EasySocial form.
