Support,

I currently have EasySocal installed on my production server with version 2.0.25. I have made a backup and loaded to a lab server for testing out the new version of EasySocial.

QUESTION,
What do I need to do to load V2.1.5 to the lab server which is not at the licensed URL location. When I try to just request an Update via the normal installation method you get two options to install EasySocial.

Via Network
This has an error because the URL of the site does not match the license.

Via File
I tried to put the com_easysocial_full_pro_2.1.5_joomla3.0.zip file in the /setup/packages folder, but it hangs up when doing the database update.
Where can I download the full installation package for V2.1.5?

OR
should I change the licensed URL from my site to the IP address of the test server and then change it back after updating?

Can you guide me how I can Update a test server installation. I want to test and validate EasySocial V2.1.5 before going live?

Thanks for the help
Dan

Raymond,

I went over the installation and followed the Full-Package Installation which is what I had been doing. I would select the easysocial full installation zip file and Joomla would go to the Joomla Extensions list on the Install from Web Tab.

Needed to do it 3 times before Joomla stayed on the Upload Package from file tab which gave me the PHP error that the file size was bigger then my php.ini configuration settings. Increased the file size and POOF. Worked like a champ.

Joomla going to the other tab after selecting the zip file made it look like it wasn't working.

SO NO ISSUE.
Thanks for the help.
