I tried it myself a few times. But it stopped every time. When I finally exit the update installation it was saying that I was running on the latest version. Your reply was faster than that I could update my earlier post.

It is all working now. it was odd because the update process stopped at different points. First at 98% a few times and than at 55%. Maybe joomla kicked me out because it looked inactive for over an hour when i was waiting on the last few percent.

Anyway, the update is working fine now. Thanks for your help!
