Ouch, were you forced to pay the price to release the domain? Sorry to head about that! Anyway I have checked your site and it looks like the profile type "Registered Users" is set to use the "Elegant" template and this is why you are constantly seeing the elegant template.

I have configured the profile type to use the default selected template instead and it works fine now Just for your reference, the settings for the theme for the profile type is shown in the screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/asS0rmOnj

If I've disabled friends etc....why does the friend request icon still show? surely it's linked to having friends???!!!
