I'm just voicing some concern with this template because it is advertised as a specific template for EasySocial yet actively disables some features of ES by default...the toolbar, for example. I don't know if it is an issue with Helix3 and/or the themes with ES which has led to a product which seems to intentionally give less options out of the box than any other template out there. I've figured some parts of a workaround but cannot find any documentation on how to accurately mimic the toolbar and the time involved to do so is making less and less sense for a paid product.

Can you tell me why the toolbar is disabled in the Vanilla theme and do you have any explicit instructions for how to use it just as it is in the EasySocial component even if it is to a different module?
thanks,
Steve G.
If I recall correctly, the reason why we decided do not render toolbar on the page is because that is design purpose.

Perhaps you can try setup all the Easysocial menu under one of the main menu at the menu bar, and display one of the Easysocial dropdown menu at the bottom of that menu bar, you can check my attached screenshot below how it look like.
