ES stream - remove specific stream content for all users

Hi,

I have been searching for the methods to remove specific stream items i.e. Groups - promoted to admin and add to group etc. I found the method in ES>Applications>select app>configuration.

Now that I have turned all these configurations off for the specific application stream items, how can I remove all old similar items from the the stream for all users. In my users, nobody benefits from seeing "promoted to admin" for instance and it would be desirable to remove all previous stream items.

Thoughts?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've tested in my locally, it seems work fine, it will disappear these stream when I disable joined/remove/promote stream from the group app.

May i know which group still appear these stream even you disabled setting from the app?

Application notifications previously posted to stream:
My goal was to remove existing application posts to the stream (for example-groups joined/remove/promote) that have previously posted.

Future notifications to stream:
I think I understand the process to disable stream notifications for applications. I have now been disabling stream notifications for items that are not helpful for users in my site. S>applications>select application>edit configuration for stream notifications.

If you already turned off these setting from backend, these stream still appear on your site, perhaps you can guide us how to see these stream on your user profile page or group page so we can better have a look?
