Hello StackIdeas Support

We have a category, just visible for one usergroup. If somebodey posts a new post in this category, only users of allowed groups are supposed to see this post. This works fine so far.

But in EasySocial Stream everybody, no matter what group, everybody can see the stream item of somebody created a new blog post. If you click to read the full post, attached error is coming and this is not a nice behavior.

Please advice, how to hide these stream items for not authorized users.

Thank you and best regards
Hi there,

Basically, the stream share in easysocial is referring to the post visibility setting as shown: http://take.ms/hgR5L

Hello Muhammad,

thank you for your answer, so really everybody can see the blogpost in the stream, when somebody adds a new blogpost to a category that should not be visible by everybody? Any idea to avoid this?
