ES relationship app

If user "a" starts a relationship with user "b", then there is a stream entry for user "a". Wonderful...

But what about user "b"?

There should also be a stream entry for user "b"...

I know this is not a bug. But the logic is not right.
Hi Chris,

Do you mean you prefer it this way? http://take.ms/MIaFI

Since relationships go both ways in EasySocial, it seems redundant to mention it 2 times from both user's perspectives.

Hi Raymond,

That's what I'm talking about.

I understand. But the disadvantage is this:

In the profile of user "a" appears the stream entry, and these friends can react to it (comment etc.)

But in the profile of user "b" there is no stream entry, and his friends cannot react to it.

Alternative would be: A stream entry with 2 profile photos and this entry in both profiles.

But it would be more complicated.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the explanation. I get what you mean about the part where no stream is showing on the other user's timeline.

I will log this in our tracker to see how we can approach this in the future.
