Hi There,

I am working on ES forgot password, verification, and password reset pages and just noticed when I get to the Password Reset page where I have to enter my new password, the heading is using the same language variable as in the forget password page. I think you guys can do better than that why use the same variable?

COM_EASYSOCIAL_PROFILE_REMIND_PASSWORD

why not:

COM_EASYSOCIAL_PROFILE_RESET_PASSWORD

or

COM_EASYSOCIAL_PROFILE_COMPLETE_RESET_PASSWORD

that way, in Forgot Password page, the heading can be overriden in the language override. Technically, the Forgot Password page is not really a Password Reset right? Maybe, Find Account is the right heading.

Thanks,

Jackson
Hi Jackson,
Are you referring to the 'Reset Password' heading in these 2 pages(http://take.ms/Zy7rv) which should have 2 separate translations?
If yes, we can make a small modification to separate them in the future.

Hi Raymond,

Yes, you got it right

A little side note, I think Joomla's feature to send plain text password via email is a little bit outdated nowadays in terms of security. Who's admin in the right mind would do that? We'll maybe there are some but IMO, ES shouldn't have that option anymore.

Thanks,

Jackson

Hey Jackson,
To disable clear text passwords in emails, you can try disabling this setting and see how it goes: Settings>Users>Registration>Display Clear Text Password In Email(http://take.ms/9jLGQ).

Hi Raymond,

Yes, I already disabled sending clear text password. Like I said it was a side note.

Thanks,

Jackson
