Hello StackIdeas.

On the Pages view, for example, http://easysocial.stackideas.com/pages , the date the page was created shows by each page's LIKE button.

My user's (and I'm sure those of other sites as well) find this confusing... and can take it as a sign that a page is actually 'old' and out of date.

I don't see it offering any value - it doesn't tell the user anything meaningful... could it be replaced by the page author? I think that would be much better and provide some useful information which might help people decide whether or not to visit that page... and / or instantly tell them who is behind it if they have any questions.

What do you think? Hope you agree!
Hm, this is true and I think instead of showing the author of the page, it shouldn't really show anything at all as it would be a little confusing to show the author too.

Thanks Mark. I'd agree nothing would be better than having the creation date there... would be happy with that!

..The only reason I suggested author though is because it's very hard to find out who the page author is (unless you know where to look). I've raised this elsewhere with ES Events I think. On ES Pages I have my default view set to the 'About' Tab - and you'd expect to find the author there (I wish it was) - but no, the only place the author shows is in the 'sidebar' on the 'Timeline' View. Easily missed.

Best Wishes and Happy New Year!
