Take a look at mysite /groups/499

You'll see the Group navigation has a "MORE" but it's empty... that's because on my configuration I've switched off quite a few of the group features.

This naturally leaves the user thinking something is missing or went wrong.

So shouldn't there be a check that decides whether the "MORE" should appear or not?
