Wow, I really liked what you are doing with your site and I can see it is going to be really great! I have checked your site and it seems like the problem is coming from your JCE Editor, as there are errors being thrown on the page, https://take.ms/rMQRV . This would also explain why the editor is not showing up too.

I have configured EasySocial to use TINYMCE, https://take.ms/IZoFH and the group form works fine now I strongly believe the problem is because of the permissions on JCE.

I just tried to create an event again as a regular registered user.

- Still no editor
- Still can't submit

I actually changed this for the group, you need to also change the editor for the event. You can change it under Settings > Events . This also applies to Pages.
