Hi guys,
There is still something that either I missing or has changed;)

Since EB5 I can't seem to get the selection - during the registration- to which group you want to sign up to. Earlier if someone wanted to register there was first the selection of the groups, then all the registration fields accordingly.

I might have missed now somewhere a setting or so but I can't seem to get this back, I always seem to get to the short/mini registration.

Any suggestion, tip, help how to correct this please?

After sign on -once registered- people should get to the blog page.

I already changed to ES logon and EB logon and reviewed parameters but can't find where it goes wrong.

Thanks for. Help.

Regards,
Luc
Hey Luc,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Can I know which page are you accessing to register on the site? I can't seem to access any contents on your site and even accessing EasySocial isn't allowed.

Hi Mark,

I'm just using the registration link on the logon page. So there is no special page I made for it. But in the past once you click on the link on the logon page you got the list of the ES groups that are available to register.

Your profe is a super user and should have access to all the ES groups etc.

Hope this helps/clarifies.

Regards,
Luc

Hi Luc,

I've checked your site and it seems like the following options has been disabled for some reason from your backend > plugin manager > system - easysocial, http://screencast.com/t/6MEHPzgKo2pB . However when I tried to re-enable the settings, it seems like I am no longer be able to access your frontend page due to public user not able to access easysocial login page on your site.

Perhaps you can try to re-adjust the permission level to allow public user to access your easysocial login and registration page to make thinks work correctly.

Hi Ezrul,

Thanks for looking into this, but when that option is enabled - (by the way no clue how that has been disabled) - but when enabled I get too many redirects and I don't get the the main page at all, not to login or anything.
your suggestion-help and clarification or correction would be appreciated.

When I disable the option back, then I get the login page, but I still only have the short/mini registration and I also have a warning that looks like for every single post that "would" have been displayed that you should first logon.

Feel free to adjust/correct where required, there re currently no others using it (yet) I was about to release it to others when I noticed this :S so would appreciate your support.

Thanks,

Regards,
Luc

Ezrul,

Thanks for the good intention to help, but now the site goes default to the English version, the menu bards don't show once logged on and also the language selection has disappeared :-S ??? Not quite sure what or how much you changed. The logon is indeed there, and the group selection works during registration. Thanks for that. Any chance to fix the other part back?

Also the last album module doesn't show correct anymore what Mark had just fixed a few days ago. (see issue http://stackideas.com/forums/latest-es-albums-module-displays-differently-on-different-pages )

Luc

Hi Luc,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I changing your default language site to english yesterday so it will be easier for me to debug your site. I've change back your default site language to Dutch (NL) and also change language switcher module to appear on all page.

Also the last album module doesn't show correct anymore what Mark had just fixed a few days ago. (see issue http://stackideas.com/forums/latest-es-albums-module-displays-differently-on-different-pages )

I've applied the fix inside your /modules/mod_easysocial_albums/mod_easysocial_albums.php and it should displaying correctly now.

Thank you!

Hi Luc,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as I was occupied with debugging another site just now.

Hm, that was strange. I just tried to access your frontend but it seems like the redirection issue is occurring again. May I know did you change something on your menu item just now?

By the way back to your question, you can refer to the following joomla forum here on how to hide menu item after user has logged in into the site, http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=624&t=787950 .

Ezrul,
Thanks for the feedback. Not sure if you still have the issue if you try to get to my site. It is working for me fine at the moment.
Thanks for the link of the article but it doesn't seem to work. The article doesn't exist anymore. If y out still have another link, thanks, otherwise I'll google around

Please let me know if you would still encounter an issue to my site. I changed the order in the menu, but it. Seems to work fine.

Just a little detail. When I get to a small screen the menu disappears and the sidebar icon appears, but doesn't do anything. Not sure if this is related to your templates or anything else. Just something new I noticed. Once I get to a wider screen all seems to be working fine.

Regards,
Luc

Ezrul,
Actually there is still one issue in the way you set this up.
I have now the ES logon and get after logon to the ES site, not to the blog. How can I make this going to the blog instead? When I change it to the EB logon it doesn't neem to work. Any suggestion?

Thanks,
Luc

Hi Luc,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

You can change your login redirection from your backend > easysocial > settings > users > login redirection, http://screencast.com/t/A6KcoxqfY . If you are using login module instead, you can change the redirection from the module settings itself.
