ES Events: Important info disappears when you go to 'About'

Hi SuperHeroes,

I notice when you go to an Event page, the left column has great and important modules like a summary of 'Files uploaded' and 'Announcements'.. who the event owner is and all that great stuff... but if you go to the 'ABOUT' tab (where many users go as soon as they see it to get info) those disappear.

Example: mysite.com/ fosters800m

I'm having to keep answer questions from my users who are missing this info - could easily be avoided if this could be fixed up?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Logically event about page suppose to show event info only without those like file and announcement, this is why we doesn't show those event widget in about page.

If you would like to show these widget in about page, you can download my attached file and replace into this template override file location and see how it goes.

Thanks Arlex. I'll see how that goes. Appreciate it. I'd still strongly recommend it as a core improvement.. logic wouldn't result in an "ABOUT" view showing less core information than a "TIMELINE" view does.... just doesn't make sense!

Perhaps you can submit this request to change this behaviour under this forum page https://stackideas.com/forums/easysocial/feature-requests-2 , so we will see if there a lot of user who want to change this behaviour, we will consider to implement this in the future version.
