Happy Holidays SI Team

...but if I may disturb your peace.... I'm working with the EasySocial Content Plugin which renders comments and things on Joomla article pages. Nice... but on one or two of my Joomla pages, I don't want it to appear... is there a {nocomments} type of code I can put on those pages which will ensure it doesn't show up?
Hello Andy,

I'm afraid there is no shortcode to disable it on a certain Joomla pages.

Hmmm.... Ok all or nothing then at the moment.

Is this the sort of thing that would need to go on Voices, or can you take it forwards as a consideration without having people vote on it first?

I think I've seen this kind of thing elsewhere... basically before the plugin does its thing, it would check the page for a secret code... if it finds it, it doesn't do anything.

Hey Andy,

I never believed in shortcodes because end users wouldn't understand it. Instead I think it would make sense if there is a way for the plugin settings to have an exclusion list.

It's advisable that you add them to the uservoice area.

Genius. Yes I think I was going back to our JomComment days with that idea. Your suggestion would be PERFECT. I'll add to voices... thanks... here it is everyone...
