Hi SI Team,

Per our understanding, the default share option in Main Dashboard is "Everyone". As seen in the attachment. How can we change the Default share option to "Only Me". For all members. And if a member has to share with everyone, they'd specifically need to select that option from dropdown.

Thx.
Hello Juz,

You can change it in Backend>Easysocial>Users, select your user, and select Privacy tab: http://screencast.com/t/xKtIbkQ6FR4T . Hope this helps.

Hi Nick,

So changing Story Viewing = Only Me. Does that make story sharing Deafault to Only Me or does it restrict other members from viewing the dashboard/story of this user? Sorry but it wasn't clear and the tooltip does not specify either.

Appreciate clarification.

Hello Juz,

Sorry for the confusion of the tooltip. The setting will only change the default to Only Me. Others can view this users's story if this user change the privacy before posting.

Thank Nick.

1) So assuming we change the privacy for an Admin/User to "Only Me" for Story->Story Viewing, Profile -> Post Story, Photos -> View Photos, Tag Photos, Albums-> View Albums.

If this admin/user posts story/comment, photos, creates events etc. in a group, that post/photo/comment/event would still be accessible by all group members. If this admin/user posts story/comment, photos, creates events in the main dashboard and if privacy is set to "Only Me" then s/he will be the only one who can view these items. Correct? So changing privacy options will not impact the sharing within groups.

Cheers!
