Hello,

How do I edit the Advanced Search module to reduce the number of steps when searching?

For example, our users want to remove the second dropdown option (is equal to, contains, does not contain, etc.) to be removed and the default search option is "contains".

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Currently that is no setting to disable those operator from the advanced search, but you can try download my attached files and replace into this following file location and see how it goes.

JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/search/advanced/criteria.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/search/advanced/operator.php

Remember do the backup before you replace the file.
