NOT RESOLVED as of May 12, 2016: Issue still exists.

On my extension testing site I am testing the Ja Simpli template before changing to use it on my main site, and everything worked fine, until I installed ES 1.4.9 yesterday. Now when I try to create a test post in the Timeline I get the following error. I am not sure if this is a conflict with ES 1.4.9 and this template or not as it used to work the days before in my test.

When I try to Post and Update I get this error message: Please enter a valid discussion title

When I try it on my main site, ES 1.4.9 works fine, so this leads me to believe that perhaps there is a conflict with ES 1.4.9 and the JA Simpli tempate. I was almost ready to switch out the bloated RocketTheme template to use the simple and fast JA Simpli template, until this issue came up on my test site today. The only other thing I added yesterday was the latest Discuss plug-ins to my test site, and my main site.

Any way to fix this or find out what is causing this error message so I can feel comfortable to use JA Simpli with ES 1.4.9?

Also, the Select Domain License feature above does not allow me to select anything.

Thank you.

Randall
Hi Randall,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Seems like your FTP access is not working Can you please advise?
However can you please replace the file (see attachments) into folder:
DIR:..media/com_easysocial/apps/group/easydiscuss/story.js
And look how it goes.

Thanks Muhammad,

I thought I had this fixed with the fix you gave me, but it is not resolved.

A few minutes ago when installing another app in ES I noticed that I had disabled the discuss application last night so the problem still exists. It is not solved as I thought. When I turned the Easydiscuss Version:1.3.5 back on, the problem comes back. So there has to be another reason for this.

It appears to have something to do with adding the most recent version of the discuss application plugin to Easysocial 1.4.9. If I turn the discuss plugin off, and do a cache refresh, there problem is gone. When I turn the discuss plugin back on, the issue comes back.
