Hi SI Team

I attempted to update to ES 1.4.9 using the update function in the ES Component in my Joomla back end.
I was instructed that there was a newer version available for download from my SI Account dashboard.
I went to my SI Dashboard and downloaded the file “com_easysocial_launcher_pro_1.4.9_joomla3.0.zip”
And attempted to upload it with the standard Joomla installer.
Which said install successful.
When I then went to the ES Component in my Joomla back I was instructed to proceed with he install process.

I am confused.

Is the latest version installed or did some thing go wrong?

please advise

thanks

Paul
Hi Paul,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. I'm not really sure why you have to re-install after finish the update. But, I have tried to update it for you and it works just fine .

Hi Muhammad

Is is possible that it is a Cache issue?
I am seeing different things when I go here:

http://finalbug.net/administrator/index.php?option=com_easysocial

In Firefox/Chrome.

Kindly see screen shots below.

best

Paul

Hi Paul,

This is really strange, there is nothing do with cache, because as the installation phase was completed the installation file in tmp file will automatically disappeared, where any browser will not detect the installation file. I tried to open your back end on both Firefox and Chrome. It works just fine.
