Please take a look at my activity stream post URL I've provided in the Site Details.

I used the 'Share Link' option and selected the thumbnail I wanted to appear.

As you can hopefully see, it shows as a broken image.. when I look at the code, it has created..
<img src="/884574557c5a0420d19e94dc6473808d.png">
so it looks like that's an incomplete path to the actual image?
Hey Andy,

CORRECTION to my above post: The editor on this discussion forum is adding the http://cloud.stackideas.com bit into that URL! The one that's created on my site doesn't include that part!

Hi Andy,

May I know what is the link that you used to share on your social stream?

I was logged in front-end as an event owner, and I published on the activity stream of that event. I remember first I selected the 'add photo' icon and uploaded a pic... but then I typed a description for it which included a URL.. as soon as I typed the URL I think the interface switched to the 'add link' style and let me choose a thumbnail taken from the images that were on the URL I had typed.

Hey Andy,

We need to try this out and we can only try this if you could pass us the link that you were trying to share

Hey Andy,

I tried to reproduce this locally but it seems to be working fine for me here, http://screencast.com/t/67iTwgnOsk . Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?
