ES 1.3.27 Still can't upload PDF to event stream like you can to other streams

Hi Miracle Makers... Sob I am so sad....

I just used the AWESOME share files feature on the main community stream and it works so wonderful and looks so nice and functional... plus with the new pin power I can keep it sticky too if need be. LOVELY.

So why so sad?

The little file / folder icon to do this magic is STILL missing from the 'Share What's New' on the event steam... please, please, please.... can this get fixed up soon? So many times my event creators want to upload their PDF flyers and things.... (I know there's a file upload in the custom fields but that doesn't produce anything like such a good end result)

Hello Andy.

You don't see the upload file option on the "Share What's New" story form because you have been disable the Allow FileSharing option in Event Categories backend settings. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-07_1031.png

I see this on the 1.3.28 changelog (YIPPEE!!!!!!!)

BUT

Did it get included?! I updated to 1.3.28 and refreshed cache etc... I've logged in as event owner and super admin too, and I don't see the upload files option on the "Share What's New" story form?

Wondering if the code was done but maybe didn't get into the 1.3.28 as intended?

Hello Andy.

Can you provide us with joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly? Because in my local, ES 1.3.28 already have the upload files option on the "Share What's New" event story form. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-06_1134.png
