Hello All,

I am trying to implement Facebook registration for my community. I did so with a test user and everything went well (name, profile picture and cover all imported fine), but when I tried to post a status with the test user I received the following error:

JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

This does not happen with any of my test users that go through the normal (non-facebook) registration process. Any thoughts on how this can be fixed?

Thanks!
Steven
Hello Steven,

Okay, keep us updated then when you get the code from your phone. Because we need to do some testing in your Facebook apps configuration only can tell you what is the happening causing this issues. Can you temporary cancel the submit for review request and see is it working when the user submit the stream in EasySocial.

Hello Steven,

Hm, this looks like there was an error posting to facebook when you update your status. Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Ahhhh, it must be because of the different country login attempt. Unfortunately, I don't have the phone available at the moment so, I can't get the code. Let me ask you this, my app is still pending review for "Publishing_Actions" functionality. I was able to publish to from my out ES profile to my own FB profile, but the test users did not work. Could it be that FB is allowing the owner of the app to have the permission while waiting for approval for public use of that functionality? I have taken a look at everything in my app on FB and don't see anything that I have missed. Is there a setting I should look for in my APP details on FB Developer site?
Thanks!
