Do you use Wanderers template by any chance? if so there are some override files to delete. Let me know, if that is the case, I can help you solve it

ah, weird. Well, based on my experience that happens if you have template override files in your templates/templatename/html/com_easysocial that are based on older templates.

The other thing that might have happened is a corrupt filesystem, old cache, or faulty upgrade. Some files might be out of date.

Here are 4 suggestions to try:

Option 1: Clear all caches both server side and locally.
Option 2: Install Admin Tools and repair permissions and optimize database. Then install again.
Option 3: check if there are any template overrides in templates/ict_conches_pro/html/com_easysocial if so rename or delete them (Recommend to backup first)
Option 4: Try a full install, rather than just launcher install. In your Stackideas dashboard you can click the "Other Versions" link under the blue button/download link for EasySocial. There are three options. Try either full version or component version. These versions include the files, not just the installer (I have attached screenshots for reference). I recommend trying Full first, however... there is a risk that your hosting provider limits upload file size, so you might have to try Component version instead. If neither work, you can upload manually via FTP to administrator/components/com_easysocial/setup/packages

Hi Goodwin,

Yeah, you may follow the suggestion posted by Jannik and see if that helps or not. If the issue persist, can you send me your site url, your Joomla backend admin access so that I can check again on your issue?

Please advise.

Hi Goodwin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Thanks for the site access details. Em, I logged into your site and I am seeing the header displayed correctly. Also, the date calendar seems working fine too. Please see below image and video.

Is your issue resolved? If not, try to clear your web browser cache. May i know what web browser you are using?
Please advise.

An easy trick to refresh your website fully and clear the cache is to press Ctrl + F5 on the page that is displaying incorrectly if you are using Windows.... or Cmd + Shift + R if you are using Mac. Also, try opening the website in another web browser to check if it displays correctly. If it does, you can download CCleaner and use it to clear the cache for the browser you are having issues with.

I also have exactly the same issue! Ahh never mind, turning off javascript compression in system preferences seemed to fix this, why would that be the case I wonder?

Hi Matthew,

Most likely the javascript from version 1.2.x cached in your browser. Try to clear your web browser cache and see if that help or not
