It seems like this is a bug with the comments module. It shouldn't link to the author page for these users because these users are not real authors on the site, therefore it shouldn't be linking the users to anywhere on the site.

I have already logged this issue into our internal issue tracker and we'll fix this in the next release. We'll provide you with a patch here when the patch is available.
