Greeting,

I receive the follow error when running the updater: Error Please enter the correct API key. You may generate it from http://stackideas.com/account/my-account.html

I copied the API and it still fails. I also purchased the unlimited version. I made a mistake and should have purchased the upgrade. Would you please fix my account by either canceling my order so I can reorder the upgrade or refund the difference (or credit)?

Thanks,

Steve
Hello Steve,

Upgrading from EasyBlog 3.8.x or older to 3.9.x requires a full uninstall / installation. The reason is because there are some core files which were modified in this release and running the updater would actually break things.

Rest assured that your data would not get erased when you perform an uninstall. Theme files and other core files would however get erased, so if you have made any modifications, it's best to make a backup of the modifications first.

You can provide us your Backend and FTP if you want us to install it for you.
