Hello,

When trying to to leave a comment, there is an error "SyntaxError: Unexpected token I in JSON at position 0" See attachment.
Also, how do I remove preview comments on top, I do not want them to appear. See attachment.

Thanks,
Javier

I suspect you have enable "System - Page cache" plugin, can you try temporary disable it and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you update your site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

You can disable this Komento comment module from the backend.

Hello.
I have the same problem .. When I turn on caching on the site, comments do not work, when I try to send comments, a message pops up: "SyntaxError: Unexpected token I in JSON at position 0".
Please tell me how to fix this problem? Site caching is required.
Thank.
Natalia.

Hey Natalia,

The reason why you hitting this is because it always loads the cached token value since you have activated the page cache on the site. If both tokens are not tally, the comment submission process will throw that kind of error.

If you would like to activate the page cache, then you have to try to comment out this line of code from this file JoomlaFolder/components/com_komento/views/comments/view.ajax.php , if the issue still persists, perhaps you can start a new thread on our forums and include your site backend and FTP access as well so we can better have a check.
