Error when inviting friends to join Group

Hi guys,

When I try to invite friends to join a group using the "Invite Friends" button I get an error. First the modal box pops up and works fine. But when I select friends and click "Send Invitations" I get nothing but a white screen. Is this a known issue in ES 1.2.16?

I have manually patched the site for you but it's best that you update to 1.2.17 too

Hello James,

The account that you provided to me doesn't seem to have any friends. Can you provide me with your account to test this? By the way, there's really something wrong with your site / server because every single request made to the server takes at least 20 seconds to load Is there some sort of compression running on the site?

Sorry... I closed this thread off too soon! Just tested the "invite friends" dialog and I'm still getting a white screen after pressing "Send Invitations."

Any help much appreciated.

Login to my profile. Click toolbar > groups. Select JHUI Certified Teachers group. Click 'invite friends' button. Type Helene in the text box. Select Helene Beaulieu from the dropdown suggestion box. Click Invite Friends. Then the white screen appears.

Hello James,

Ah, this issue should be resolved in 1.2.17. I can't use extxplorer on your site and neither can i install any file manager to temporarily fix this for you. If you want me to apply a manual patch, please provide us with the ftp access.
