Hi there

In my blog, I have some posts which I tried to "rollback" to it's first version. I get always an exception, which you can see in the attachment. But some of the posts are revised after that action somehow anyway. Just want to let you know!

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've checked in your site, it seems like some of the blogs is not assigned any category, you can check my attached screenshot below.

If I edit this post -> Auswahl an Decklisten der Top 32 and click on 'history' tab then select previous revision post, it will show out correctly without hitting any error.

May I know how you created these post in your site?

And which post you trying to rollback to older revision then hitting this error message?

No problem^^ Everybody has some holidays or at least weekend.

I created all those posts with EasyBlog version 3.9 and upgraded to the current one (5.0..) a few days ago.
Since then, every post lost it's content before the "read-more" Button, that's why I wanted to turn back to revision#1.

Try to use turn back this post to revision#1, named "Top 8 Spieler-Profile" in category "Interviews".

Btw, when that error occurs, the assigned category is gone. When I want to edit the post and asign a category, I can still see the previous assigned category (marked with primary). But I still need to update, to assign it again.

That was strange, is it possible provide us one of the blog post which missing that intro text before before that read more button?

Yes, something is strange here, by right it should be assigned category in these post.

the post "Deck Feature: Yosenju von Robin Portz" (you should see it on the main page) back to revision#1.

I've attached a screenshot for more clarity.

Thanks for getting back to us, I can replicate this issue in your site too.

When I tried to install mijosql extension in your site, but I hitting this following error :

Warning

JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths.
Error

Unable to create destination
Unable to find install package


The reason why I need to install this extension is because I would like to access your database and check the revision data.

By the way, can you provide us with your PHPMYADMIN and FTP access so we can better have a check?

Sorry, I don't have access to the database / PHPMYADMIN itself... I'm not the "owner" of the server, it's hosted by a company. Is there any other way for you?

Btw - what happens if we pass the 6th of April (my subscription ends then). Will I loose the premium support on my current threads?

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Yes, if your subscription already expired and that issue is not our bug, we will not provide support of that but it also depend on what is your current issue situation.

Since currently you unable to provide us with your database and FTP access, we can't make sure that what issue causing this, what my suspect previously is some of the post revision id is not stored correctly from the database.

By the way, I have temporary disable this plugin "Smart Search - EasyBlog Posts", it should work fine now.
But your blog search engine will not able to get these new post which published in your site recently.
