If that is private vimeo video, that is not possible to crawl the data from this private video.

And i did tried to access this page https://vimeo.com/308674413 , it doesn't show video for me, i assume this video is private.

Ok, thanks. That works. But it still doesn't work when the video is set to play only on my domain. Does it have to be completely public in order to display in the feed?

Note: the embedding of private videos seems to work in Joomla articles, just not in EasySocial.

Thanks for getting back to us, yes, the embed part should be work because Vimeo can control it.

But in Easysocial, when you put the link from the story panel form, it actually using CURL to crawl on this video page then get the video content but Vimeo only return this content "Sorry, we couldn’t find that page".

And I did tested around on your site regarding this vimeo domain restriction from the code, it seems like that is no other way around to bypass this domain restriction during CURL process.

Even Facebook also unable to crawl these Vimeo domain restriction video, you can check my attached screenshot below.
