Error upgrading: Update path does not exist

When I try to upgrade Komento from 3.03 to 3.04 using the Joomla updater, I get the following error:
Warning: Updatepath doesn't exist.
Message: Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.

My domain is listed in my account, so this should make the automatic updating run nicely, right?

Sorry, but I have a policy of not providing this access. I will update by installing the installation package then. I hope that this issue will be resolved in future updates.

Understood. This is indeed a known issue and it's already logged in our internal issue tracker.
Yes installing the launcher or full package would work.
