Hi guys

Trying to update our site but I am getting the attached error.

Can you help please?

Thanks
Katie
That was known issue for the single click updater if you update from 3.0.2 , may i know do you have add any customisation code into your site Easysocial core file? If yes, you have to do the full backup so that we can help you update to latest version of Easysocial.

Hi there,

I had helped you to update EasySocial to the latest version already.

Can you have a look and see how it goes?

It seems like you have override some of the files under your current template which not compatible with Easysocial 3.x latest version, because we have fixed some of the HTML structure for the sidebar.

For now you can temporary rename this files on your current template file location.

/public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/groups/item/default.php
/public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/users/default/default.php

Then do some comparison with the original files and update the newest HTML structure for the sidebar.

JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/groups/item/default.php
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/users/default/default.php

Hi Arlex,

This is beyond my knowledge, please can you fix this? I have followed your rules regarding adding changes to the wire-frame so they don't get overridden but i didn't think you would change a layout so this changes suddenly become outdated and no longer work.

Please can you go into the system and fix the issue please.

Thanks
Katie

The sidebar toggle doesn't work on mobile either on groups.

I have applied some CSS for now to reduce sidebar width.

Thanks

If there got major release, it might affect your current template override file old HTML structure.

And please understand that our support policy does not cover for fix your custom customisation as what you did before.

Unless those template override file created from us which you pay for those customisation request, so you have to send a request to our CRM to help you fix this.

By the way, I did help you for this once, I did modified these following files on your site :

/public_html/templates/protostar/html/mod_easysocial_sidebar/event_item.php
/public_html/templates/protostar/html/mod_easysocial_sidebar/group_item.php
/public_html/templates/protostar/html/mod_easysocial_sidebar/users.php

/public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/groups/item/default.php
/public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/users/default/default.php <- renamed
/public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/events/item/default.php <- renamed

/public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/css/custom.css

#es .es-container .es-sidebar {
/*width:400px;*/
padding-right:30px;
}

Can you give it a check is it look fine now?

Hi,

It looks like our sidebar is different in groups on mobile than it is desktop, how do I add my custom code into the mobile group sidebar too? As it is currently missing.

Thanks
Katie

I think you got added some custom code into this file /public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/groups/item/default.php , actually that is partially correct only, the correct file will be /public_html/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/groups/item/mobile.php .

Because the new structure we already separate the file for desktop and mobile.
