We need update ED, bat Joomla gives this Error message: "Error updating component when using the API from Joomla. Please try again."

What can we do?

When I was trying to access your backend http://test01.community.paraplegie.ch/administrator, it keeps redirecting me to http://test01.community.paraplegie.ch/de/.

Can you provide us with your phpmyadmin access as we just want to make sure that your API key is stored correctly in your database?

Also, can you provide us with your FTP's access as well so that we can have a better check if needed?

Hey there,

The reason that you will hit this error is because the API Key that stored in your database is not matched with your account's API Key.

I had helped you to update your EasyDiscuss by using your launcher and it should be working fine.

Can you have a try and see how it goes?

Many thanks for your help. So for me it's not clear, where I can find my API Kex in my Profile/Subscriptions. And how can I delete a Domain (with http:) from the Subscription Board?

Hey Christian,

Actually those API key already injected into the installer, it probably last time when you update Easydiscuss last older version that API is incorrect.

Regarding with your second question, I will contact our sales department to help you remove that domain from your license tomorrow.

Hey Christian,

I've already help you manage to leave one of the support domain under Easydiscuss area.

And our system will only respect your domain name, so it would be fine if you added http or https .
