I did changed the facebook app (deleted the old one and generadet a new app). Every user who is using the facebook login get now the following message in their profile editing page

"There is an error retrieving your Facebook details. Facebook returns an error message of: "Error validating application. Application has been deleted."

and can not login with the new facebook app.

Can i solve the problem with clearing the table #__social_oauth table? as described in http://stackideas.com/forums/there-is-an-error-retrieving-your-facebook-details

If yes, how und where can i do it?

regards,
Martin
Hello Martin,

You can read thru this link to empty the table. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18271951/delete-all-records-in-a-table-of-mysql-in-phpmyadmin . Don't forget to backup your table first. Or you can provide us your phpmyadmin access and also backend and FTP.

Hello Martin,

Have you re-enter the new App ID and App secret based on your new created app here http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-09_1027.png ?

Hello Nick
I did re-enter the new App ID and App secret just after i generated on facebook the new App.
Since then i get the error message - see screen shot
And if i klick on `the Revoke Access button - see screenshot - the a Error Validating screen apear - see screenshot.
What do i have to do, that the new App works for the users who used the old App?

Hello Marin,

You can try clear the #_social_oauth table in your cpanel. Just delete all the records. Do backup your table before your proceed. If doesn't work, you can provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here?. Please advise.
