Unfortunately the site is locked down within the company firewall with no external access (VPN only).

Is there anything I can do to help you.

Recently I installed Easy Blog on Joomla 3.2 and I copied the Easy_Blog_Post database table from our old Intranet (Joomla V1.6) and used that in place of the installed Easy_Blog_Post table so I could move all the old blog posts to the new system.

Would this cause the issue?

Hello Raffaele Vitale,

It seems like that is not causing the issues from migration from old site to new site.

If you have follow this step,
-> export the sql dump file from old site
-> change the table prefix #prefix_ same as new site table prefix in the sql dump file
-> then import the sql dump file in your new database
-> After that only install the Easyblog in your new site.
it should be fine.

First did you set any private category in your site?
Also, can you temporary upload exactly same site in live site so we can access in your site and check on this issues? Please advise.

I will create a Live external site you can access and copy EasyBlog to it.

I also tried to post a new blog on the server, the error it gave is:

Message: 'console' is undefined
Line: 1470
Char: 3
Code: 0
URI: http://intranet2.idoxgroup.local/index.php/component/easyblog/?view=dashboard&layout=write&Itemid=101

Thanks for your login access, but I have tried to login in your frontend and backend ( http://xsite1.xxxx.org.uk/administrator ) , it show me blank page even i set the error_reporting to Maximum. Please advise.

I have fixed the issue, I uninstalled and re-installed the software. As Easy Blog is running on our intranet it was difficult to get access for you.
