Error on profiles

Hello,

The following error has appeared recently since updating of my stackideas extensions:

Strict Standards: Declaration of SocialUserAppDiscuss::onNotificationLoad() should be compatible with SocialAppItem::onNotificationLoad(SocialTableNotification &$item) in /home/admin/vghl.myvirtualgaming.com/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/apps/apps.php on line 423

I have resolved this by turning off error reporting. Is this ok or is this error something I should have resolved?
