Hello Geoff,

If you are writing the blog post on the back end, and try to preview it using the composer, you will hit an error because you need to be logged in first as a site admin to view that post.

This process will be re-worked in 5.1 as we'll display a proper login form requiring you to be logged in first.

OK so how do I get to see the post I've just written in preview mode? As far as I'm aware I'm already logged into joomla as an admin. Or am I missing something? I can't see any other obvious to preview a draft post.

In order work for preview mode you have to make sure you have already logged in from your frontend first is because guest user do not have permission to preview blog post from frontend.

I don't understand what you mean by 'ensure you're logged into frontend first'.

I'm logged into joomla and am admin. Where else can I log into?
