Hello,

On the latest Komento 1.8.1 pro release (and on the immediately previous version as well), I get an error popup on posting a reply.

Any suggestions here?

Jordan
I solved it. For anyone facing the same problem, this is how I did it.

  1. First, created a localhost copy of my site.
  2. Emptied the contents of _komento_configs
  3. This solved the issue, indicating this was a Komento setting problem
  4. By trial and error, I was able to determine that the issue was related to Integration > Activities > Jomsocial. These were all set to yes because of my previous Jomsocial installation, which I uninstalled when I migrated to Easysocial! Disabling the Jomsocial activities solved

So for people migrating to to EasySocial and uninstalling Jomsocial be sure to disable your Jomsocial activity settings in Komento!

On further testing, this seems to happen with replies to a comment rather than posting a new comment.

On even more testing, this happens for com_content and K2 integrations:

Hello Jordan,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

I just wanted to add that I tried restructuring the dB in the backend using the tool in Komento config and this did not help.

Hello Jordan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have been trying to reproduce this issue on your site but can't seem to replicate this error. Is this only happening on specific pages? Can you please provide us with the link to the particular page?

Hi Mark,

Please login and go to the page added to optional information below.

Add a reply to an existing comment (I guess a nested comment), not a new comment.

Hi Mark,

The site provided above was also upgraded to Joomla 3.3RC. Though the error was happening before. Now after the upgrade, reply to an existing post creates an invalid token error and logs the user out.

The original error I indicated in the beginning of this question can be seen on the attached site, on a Joomla 3.2.3 site.

Hi Mark,

Here is a screener of the nested reply (not new comment) error on Joomla 3.2.3 (error but user not logged out):

Here is a screener of the nested reply (not new comment) error on Joomla 3.3RC (error and user logged out):

I hope I haven't stumped the Stackideas team. Because if so, this problem (a bad one) cannot be fixed

Thanks so much.

I tried disabling every module and plugin yet it still happens. I wondered whether it was a combination of komento to settings that's doing it.

Hello Jordan Weinstein,

Thanks for sharing, may i know are you have applied some fixes in this site?
http://j33.xxx.xxx/nephrology-presentations/item/1342-sglt2-inhibition-questions-and-answers-for-an-emerging-therapy
Because when i tried to reply comment, but the issues still persists.

I have applied some fixes the sql issues in your site, but now remaining the "invalid token" issues when comment or reply comment once time, when you comment second time then hitting "Invalid token", that mean after you comment first time then automatically logged out.

Do you have having this issues in your live site? Please advise.
