For example, if a user does not assign a title for the topic, he will receive an error message. Unfortunately, the menu is overlapping.

Is it possible to scroll upwards automatically in case of error messages?

Best regards
Hi there,

For example, if a user does not assign a title for the topic, he will receive an error message. Unfortunately, the menu is overlapping.

Honestly, i am bit confused here. Can you explain more thoroughly, maybe provide some steps or screenshot on how to replicate this. Please advice.

Sorry for my bad English. 2 of my users wanted to create a topic. Did not specify the title. Then there is a error message. But was not seen.

Therefore the question whether it is possible to scroll the page automatically on top, so the users see the error message.

Hi there,

Thanks for your cooperation. Now i get it.

It seems that, you have consult with your web service provider as we do have some checking to go to that error message, but somehow, it overlapped with your "Header" as shown https://screencast.com/t/MGvD7keLe. Please consult with and see how it goes.

Or you can do template override at this path /templates/mytemplate/html/com_easydiscuss/ask/default.php on attached file below, as i changed the "Alert" box to be appeared below the "Category" sections.

Please give it a check and see how it goes
