Hi

We have created menu items for specific categories which are then allocated to relevant access levels. Having tested the access levels they work correctly in that users can only view the discussions within the categories they have been allowed access to. However there is a message that pops up (see screen grab) which tells the user they don't have 'sufficient privileges to perform the requested action'.

Is this a message coming from EasyDiscuss, or is it Joomla generated?

If it is EasyDiscuss, can you tell me how to change the wording?

Thanks
Katrina
Hey Katrina,

This message would only be generated by EasyDiscuss if your user tries to access a category that they don't have access to.

By the way, I would suggest that you upgrade to EasyDiscuss 4, as there are lots of improvements over EasyDiscuss 3

Hi Mark

Thanks for confirming that - could you give me some instructions on how to change the wording of this message?

Hey Katrina,

You can change the wording from the language file located in /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easydiscuss.ini Just do a search for the text that you want to replace.
