Hello dear Stackideas Support Team!

I have installed your product on a dev server of my platform, and we plan to move on the live server once we completely understand hot to take most of it. We are trying to learn how to use and configurate it.

For now, we have faced 2 issues:

1)
What happen to me is the following: when I set the composer with "easy-blog composer", and try to edit a post, once I have completed the contents, and try to publish it, the system returns a message of error. the attachment is the screen shot of this message.

2)
close to the post' social icons there is a small bug, because a code symbole "> has always been present since installation. the second screenshot highligths this small bug.

Could you please give us an help?
Many thanks in advance, regards Fabrizio
Hey Fabrizio,

Can you provide us with your FTP access so we can trouble with this issue ">? Because I've tried in our local, it seems work fine.

Regarding with your first issue can't submit post, perhaps you can provide us which post you edit, so I can test on this?

Hello Arlex
Many thanks for your prompt reply.

here the ftp access to our development server where easyblog is installed.

Actually it seems to me that any new post is not publicable with the composer "easyblog" activated.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best, Fabrizio

hey Fabrizio,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

Regarding with the "> issue :
I have applied some fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder\components\com_easyblog\themes\wireframe\blogs\part.socialbuttons.php

Regarding with your second issue :
It seems like your server didn't install `mb_convert_encoding` module.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding() in /home/hotelsee/public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/blocks/handlers/abstract.php on line 150

To fix this, you have to consult with your webhosting provider to help you install this php module mb_convert_encoding . Because one of the block you insert in your post content, it required this php module to converts the character encoding of string to to_encoding from optionally from_encoding.

Hope this helps.
