I am trying to install easy social on my site but an error message comes up when I am 10% installed. Can you help please?

You may go to your stack ideas dashboard and download this easy social installer package shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/kAagPUCxx0lM . Once you click the "proceed with installation button", chose installation via directory and select com_easysocial_1.2.15 component shown here in this screenshot http://screencast.com/t/kF4Ek6HK and click next to continue with the installation and see how it goes.

I'm not too happy giving people access to the back end of the site. With security breaches online this is not a good policy for solving the problem and other users probably agree. Can you tell me how to fix the problem and I try?

Hello Jon,

Can you tell us what is the error message and at the same time can you tell us tell us in detail the steps you have taken while installing easy social as well, if its possible, could you print screen the problem that you are having as well?

Because it is quite hard for us to determine the problem you are having without going to your backend. You may enter your joomla backend & FTP credentials in the site details as only the support staff can view your login credentials.
