Hi folks,

When I try to approve multiple membership requests from the ES backend I get the message "Error: File not found." Am I missing something?

Thanks,

James
Hello JH,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've applied the fix inside your /administrator/components/com_easysocial/views/users/view.html.php and the approval should work correctly now. Can you verify it for me? I've tried to approve around 300 users just now without any issue.

Hi JH,

Can you show me some sample guide on how you hit the error message "Error: File not found."

I can't reproduce the issue

Hi Ethan,

Thanks; here is a screenshot from the backend showing the error. Yes, I'm probably trying to approve too many people at once (!) but the function to view X number of entries isn't working either. It always shows the entire list. Any suggestions?

Thanks again,

James

Hello James,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Seeing from the screenshot it seems like you are using a very old version of easysocial. Perhaps you can consider to upgrade it to the latest version and see if the problem no longer persist? Please advise

Hi Ezrul,

You're right, the version I'm using is quite old. Question: when I update the version, can I go directly from my current version (1.2.18) to the latest version? Or is there a milestone release that should be installed first?

Thank you,

James

Hello JH,

I advise you to download the latest easysocial installer from http://stackideas.com/dashboard so that the upgrade process will run smoothly without any issue. Kindly backup your site and database before the updating in case something unintended happen during the update process

Hi Ezrul,

No luck. I have upgraded to the latest version of ES but the error is still there. I can approve them one at a time but the batch approval does not work. See screenshot.

Thank you,

James

THANK YOU! I still couldn't do all 1000 at once but I was able to do 800 and then a couple smaller batches. Your support is amazing and so is your product. Thank you once again.

Best wishes,

James
