HI
Have been trying to install the extension in my joomla 2.5 dev site. but i continue to get a "0 - An error has occurred.
Table class EasyBlogTableMenu not found in file." error
Not sure how to proceed.
Have made sure that all the "php.ini" settings are correct.
Have also tried to extract files and upload to /tmp folder and installing from there but not working either

Somewhere i read that someone had tried turning debug mode on/off and goten it to work then so i tried that also.
/Lars
Hello Lars,

My colleague have fixes something in the installation.zip file of latest version of Easyblog, so i replace the file "install.defaultvalue.php" in the installation easyblog.zip file provided from this thread http://stackideas.com/forums/problem-installing-easyblog-3-9-15065_paid_j2-5#reply-107105

INSTALLER/admin/install.defaultvalue.php

so i tried to re-install easyblog in your side again, it work fine without any error come out, see my screenshot below :

Hello Lars,

Could you mind provide us with a temporary access to your Joomla backend (as admin) and an FTP access so we can check that issue and see where the problem is coming from? Please advise.

Hello Lars,

Don't worries about that.
Please elevate the user permission for the login you've sent us to Super User so that we can determine the issue Because we need to turn on your Error_reporting to Maximum and see that exactly error after installation.
And could you mind check on your FTP login credential information is it correct? Because it denied access in your FTP. Please advice.

Hi again.
Sorry for the late reply, there might have been user rights that caused our problems. I where only issued administrator rights from our sysadmin and that might have caused som unexpected effects during the installation. Strange that i where allowed to install extensions at all.
I will check some things now that i am super user and get back if our problems still exist
/Lars
